Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Celina Cyranko Strawczynski Wolfus on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the age of ninety-three. Beloved wife of the late Oscar. Loving mother of Leo (Sylvia), Marilyn/Malka (Maurice), and Charles (Val). Devoted grandmother of Oscar (Erin), Juda (Beth), Sara (Vincent), Miriam (Eduardo), Zygmunt (Lindsay), and Beryl. Proud great-grandmother of Lilianna, Aliza, Max, and Miya. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Waldorf, Maimonides, and the Jewish General Hospital for their excellent care. Special thanks to Celina’s wonderful caregivers, Dolly, Tina and Myrtle. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Lodzer Society Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Shiva in Montreal at 7905 ch. de la Côte-Saint-Luc (common room), immediately following burial through Thursday evening, shiva in Ottawa at 479 Highland Ave. from Tuesday, September 20 until noon on Friday, September 23.
